What Choice Changed My Life for The Better, and Why did I Make It

Self-love-appearance

She was a woman whom I knew exactly did not realize what she had been up to.

Her choice of thought already changed my life.

One day I did scroll up and down the Instagram timeline and clicked onto her snapgram. I found out this was her latest screenshot updated. It had stayed for at least what so we knew, 24hours. I saved this one and could not stop thinking “How could Ms. pretty having this thought over herself?”

Wasn’t she beautiful enough? despite her friends always complimented on her, never judged her as far as it might be true. I did not understand it. In fact, she’s truly charming in every way.

Somehow, this tweet really breaks my heart up. It hurts. Not the way “it ruins for being ugly” nor “can’t even sit peacefully without thinking about how disgusting our look.” but

Why we easily do self-harm, insulting about all the mistakes which we’re really just saying, or even do self-loathing instead of loving ourselves and accepting what it is?

Apparently, we often say that we are not worth enough for a living. We are not beautiful enough because of all those fat, flabby stomachs, neither do pimples that always pop up for no reason or even what color skin we have. Forget the existence of body standard. Forget those Victoria secret models whom we adore, set aside those handsome guy with a muscular body we've always wanted to be looked like. The ideal weight, self-appearance, or even the shape of a human body is diverse. Set your own standard. There is no chance you could make it the same with whomever you want it to be.

When it comes to happiness, we could afford it by because we have it within ourselves.

And I choose to empower self-love ones designed to lift confidence and boost self-esteem.

How?

1. Stop being so cruel and mean to yourself. Let yourself talk the way you talk with the one you love.

2. Clearly, you are perfect just the way you are. You are different and stop trying to be like someone you do not need or to be ashamed of the things that you most like for having, either the way you look or other personality (based on something you embarrassed of). All you have to do is becoming the best version of yourself. Be proud of who you really are.

3. Every time I stand directly opposite the mirror I always give the most indulgent smile and say “You are beautiful, you are intelligent, you are independent, you are precious, you are the one and only you’re version will be long lasted, you are special either do have an amazing body and personality and one day

4. Accepting yourself is important because it means that you accept all the good and the bad. It is a great affirmation that is focused on the energy of letting go. When we accept ourselves we are not only loving the parts we love but forgiving ourselves for the bits that might not be perfect. You are fine. You are wonderful. Embrace every aspect of you, flaws, and all.

5. You are so strong. You have made it through all of your bad days. You are not here by accident. You are powerful beyond measure. Own this and don’t let anyone or thing hold you back today.

6. You can achieve all your to-do list in the future as soon as possible. The dreams you always want is going to happen because you're going to do everything you can. No self-doubts. No cursing. No humiliations. No matter how hard it is, you have a certain penchant about these since you believe over your capabilities.

“Stop looking into the drawback. Start giving assertion about loving your true self. Propels that you are worthy. By being who you really are and completely loving yourself, others will find your true colors.” - Farah Mayu, 2020
