I am really excited to tell you guys about this one.

Why?

First, I have a penchant over historical or regency romance. That's my favorite genre fiction book besides science-fiction.

Within this genre, there's plenty of historical cultures to draw from for flavor. There's a decent amount of research and work going into the writing on the part of the author to provide the reader with gorgeous costuming, lavish balls, and all sorts of bells and ribbons. These are just lit. I absolutely like it.

Before finding out how amazing and outstanding Julia Quinn's novels, I have fallen in love with the one and only Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen (first published January 28th, 1813) which I have read when I was in senior high school, around 5 years ago. And after that figuring out everything that I found from the movie version. Well, since the first minute I watched it, I couldn't stop loving it even though I felt a bit disappointed, because as we knew that the book was always better than the movie.

Indeed.

But then I was deeply in love with Romancing Mister Bridgerton by Julia Quinn's book.

The thing that surprised me was Penelope's character in that story, her role as an intelligent, and independent woman. She even described her as a wallflower? How disbelieved it was I guessed. Oh come on, just wait until Colin recognized her by the very last step. Yeah I know he'd been stupid all the time, and he acted nothing but a well-attitude charming doucebag.

Before we seek any further, I'm gonna do a small reveal of her novel.

Synopsis:

Everyone knows that Colin Bridgerton is the most charming man in London. Penelope Featherington has secretly adored her best friend's brother for..well;, it feels like forever. After half a lifetime of watching Colin Bridgerton from afar, she thinks she knows everything about him until she stumbles across his deepest secret...and fears she doesn't know him at all.

Colin Bridgerton is tired of being thought nothing but an empty-headed charmer, tired of everyone's preoccupation with the notorious gossip columnist Lady Whistledown, who can't seem to publish an edition without mentioning him in the first paragraph. But when Colin returns to London from a trip abroad he discovers nothing in his life is quite the same--especially Penelope Featherington! The girl haunting his dreams. But when he discovers that Penelope has secrets of her own, this elusive bachelor must decide...is she his biggest threat--or his promise of a happy ending?

Alright back to the topic...

So, I had read the story around two years ago, and that was my very last time reading this kinda book. I quit reading fiction books because want to focus on enriching my knowledge through non-fiction books. But, please highlight that I never forget how overwhelming it is. To be honest, I have wanted to share about this since forever but just got a chance for now.

I well adore Julia.

The way the author wrote down and built all the characters was off-limits. I loved it so much. The way she described how intelligent, independent, amazing woman  Penelope Featherington was to demand all those hard lives through of hers. Penelope was the real woman should be. Well-educated, based knew proper attitude upon her opposite whomever she/he was.

So did Mr. Colin. He was a very well-managed man who loved being adventurous. He loved going out to travel and has been laid over the sees. His role was somehow so gentle and you know, be the man every woman dreamt of.

And, there are some messages from this story that I want to share with:

1. No matter what, be an intelligent and well-attitude person.

2. Educated person will eventually match the one too.

3. Worth for a living: if you are late to settle down, don't ever feel ashamed. Wait, until meeting the one and only lover. When it's late, doesn't mean everybody hates you. The ancestor said, keep the best for the last shot.

4. Build your own character hence nobody can't unless yourself.

5. Obey your parents no matter how much you don't like it. They love you 3000 yet countless.

6.  Be kind to other humankind. Stay being even no one cares.

7. Keep your kindness no matter how hard it is. The kind-hearted willingly know how to find you, either will you get him/her through your own grips.

8. The last is LOVE YOURSELF INSTEAD OF HARM!!
