Imagine how amazing the outcome of spreading positivity to others? Helping someone that needs your help, providing one or community that is part of your life, also representing your identity in a good way, isn't it wonderful? You can be the reason people smile. You can make their days even more beautiful. See, how major your action can impact others.

Nowadays, many Muslim influencers actively representing Islam in many ways. Slowly, more and more Muslim influencers becoming known online internationally or nationally, you named it like Saleh Family, Hummi, Adam Saleh and many more. Then one day, I discovered another one.

Right after finishing my morning workout when I was surfing on YouTube, all of sudden I found whose channel was super amazing and inspiring. It is by Mustafa Hussain. I have watched all his videos and probably could not stop rewatching them over and over. Every time I watch it, I get so touched cause his content is such a heart-warming one. Why? His content is definitely can make you smile maybe have a bit teary eyes and get touched. 

"Be the change you wish to see in the world"

Yes, be the change you wish to see in the world by your action. It doesn't matter how small or big it is as long as you can provide, help, and impact others within whatever action you do then you have done such an amazing job. Always. No matter how much it is, it will always be beneficial for one.

I take one example from Mustafa's action. His name is Mustafa Hussain. The young Pakistani-American influencer. He has a passion for spreading positivity and creating uplifting content. Many of his videos are centred around challenging stereotypes regarding the Muslim community. 

His small acts of kindness like giving free ice cream to the homeless, paying for strangers' groceries on Thanksgiving or even giving chocolate bars attached with cute notes "Smile. You deserve to be happy." (omg what a cute one!) to random strangers became viral not only because they were uplifting, but because they represented and showed an essential message that,

"Muslims are a generous, peace-loving people who can be the pillars of their community."

Even though he has been in success and fame, Mustafa remains grounded. As London post said,

"His goal remains the same: to give, to uplift, and to spread happiness in ways that change the world perceptions on Muslims for the better. His videos reflected his lofty ambitions. "Giving Free Food for Strangers in Ramadhan", "Muslim paying for people's gas", Muslim giving strangers Ramadhan Gifts", Iftar With The Homeless On A Truck In Ramadhan", are some of his popular videos where he creates moments of sheer joy and wholesomeness."

It is absolutely inspiring me a lot.

One of my favourite Mustafa Hussain's videos is this one--Making Strangers Smile (Guaranteed To Make You Smile). And guess what? Apparently, it works! The values they demonstrate and the message of the videos are trying to convey. People reserve a soft spot for genuine reactions caught on camera. Catching these authentic smiles is a meticulous job. So, Mustafa and his best friend Ahmad explored the idea of bringing people a few smiles.

This one spread rapidly and they were overwhelmed and joyed with people's reactions, having received positive emails of people inspired by the video wanting to do the same thing in their community.

Ya Allah, he actually has made my day! *Does he make yours too, doesn't he? Oh, come on stop pretending that you are not. Hmmm? So hold your smile while reading this article, please. And don't forget to visit his social media platform!*

See, I probably couldn't stop smiling when I wrote this article. Thousand times I recheck his channel and rewatch his videos still get amazed and never get bored seeing those genuine smiley faces.

A smile is beneficial for our health. Put simply, it improves our mood because a smile releases endorphins which help us feel happier and have more positive thoughts. By this, please don't stop becoming the reason people smile. Do it your own way, no matter how small your action is, it will always make others' day.

Today I would like to go over seven different forms of purpose that I have observed in highly motivated people. If you read this article till the very end, you will gain a clear idea of how to rekindle that fire within yourself. So, that you can feel alive again.

Be ready cause we are about to start off its list with one of the most common forms of purpose which is......

1. To provide

If you want to cultivate this sense of purpose, you have to place yourself in a situation where the only person that can provide for an individual is you. 

I have seen this occur in a person who had to become someone's relying on for their survival, or people who had a family member that suddenly become ill, or when new parents have a baby for the first time. By this, a fire awakens within them to provide. This actually relates to the next form of purpose which is...

2. To protect

The desire to protect is not only about protecting our family or loved ones. People often have a desire to protect their community, their ethnic group, and even their ideas. This is an incredibly strong form of purpose. If you think about it, it has been the driving force behind most wars in human history. 

The protection of resources, protection from invaders, and protection of ideas being the most common cause of these conflicts even the idea of honour when boiled down is simply a strong desire to protect what one stands for.

If you want to cultivate a sense of purpose, you need to do two things; 

• First, you need to fall in love with something outside of yourself. This can be a person, a group of people with the same interest or hobby, or even an idea.
• Second, you need to observe something that threatens the survival of what you love. This can be something that you see coming in the future, an attack from another group or even another idea that threatens your idea.

However, it is not only limited to physical experiences. If you have a strong desire to explore, you will enjoy exploring ideas. As well as learning becomes fulfilling, especially when it comes to things that you know little about.

In order to cultivate this form of purpose, you need to first cultivate one of the big five personality traits.....which is called openness. 

An interesting fact about openness studies has found that it naturally increases from the time that we are born until we are about eight after. 

It decreases which suggests that most people enjoy exploration as a kid but as they get older, they prefer to stick to what they are used to. 

If you want to cultivate a strong sense of purpose, you must do the opposite, you must become a kid again and embrace your fear of the unknown and you can do this by starting out small things. By going to places in your own city that you were never gone before, by trying out a new dish instead of always ordering the same thing in the same restaurant. So it is certainly possible to be like that once again even tho it is once in a blue moon (haha).

Another way to cultivate the desire to explore is by learning new languages. See? When you learn a new language you are literally training your brain to think about things differently. Not only that but you will also be able to dive deep into a foreign culture to get an authentic taste of what it is like living and thinking in a totally different world.

5. To conquer

you must have a belief that you can rise to the top with enough work and effort. 

Without confidence, it simply won't seem possible. On top of that, you will need to spend some time to conquer your competition. The more you think about it, the larger the fire will burn within you. Now a fair warning of having a feeling to conquer as the main purpose in life can be powerful. It can motivate you to do many things, but it's not very fulfilling. At the end of the game, you see Olympic athletes are often met with a wave of depression once they hit the best record and won the gold medal because all of a sudden they realise that they are the best and there is no one else can beat them up. Precisely, they are left with no purpose in life.

6. To create

Creating can make us to give back to the world instead of only take in order to cultivate this form of purpose.

We simply need to spend less time consuming and more time creating. It means, commences to take baby steps instead of spending all day surfing the web. Here, take 10 minutes and work on something like building some crazy innovation, writing a poem, drawing doodles, or even making a cartoon and get used to the idea of creating. Let it flow. Start to enjoy it more and more. And finally, the last form of purpose issssss......

7. To help

Helping here is to remove the suffering of others, to help them overcome whatever obstacle that they are currently facing. 

The desire to help is built into most of us and it is one of the most fulfilling forms of purpose out there. To cultivate this form of purpose, you need to do at least two things:

• First, you need to love other people. You must have a deep understanding that all human beings are the same that we have many of the same fears and desires, also we all feel pain. Once you realise this, you will have a strong desire to help those that are in need because preventing suffering in another becomes as essential as preventing suffering in your own life.
• Second, you have to get a taste of what it is like to help others. Try and do a small favour for your neighbour, join a volunteer program, go out of your way to give food to the homeless or the needy, help your juniors or your friends when they need you. Once you do to make sure to look at them in the first place and see how much of a difference your actions can make. You will start to realise how much happiness you can bring into other's life by simply lending a hand. The more you do this the more this form of purpose will be within you.

Now it is important to note that what I have written is not all the things you can find by surfing out there. This simply seven of the most common ones.

Before ending up this article, I would like to present one of my favorite writings either also as a reminder for me or for the reader. 

Allah is always with you ––––  "Do not fear for Allah is with us." (Qur'an 9:40). In the darkness of the night, beneath the blanket of depression, on the days you long for the desert to cover you with its blowing snads, on the nights you imagine ocean waves to groq to the height of mountains pulling you close into the depths of its soul in current that none can escape, on the days the sadness is like a thousand knives masked in butterflies in your stomach, when the whole world is falling apart a wintery leaf at a time as you watch everyone who said they would be there leave like you are an autumn tree and the softest breezze of difficulty sheds you of all your protective layers, when you have nowhere else to turn, when every bridge you built was burned, when your heart is not broken but shattered into dust into a shape that can't be salvaged, when the moon is swallowed by the darkness of despair, when the sun sets into the ocean of your hopelessness when you feel like a dark ant on a dark stone in the darkest od nights do not be sad God sees you, God is here.

You don't have to find Him or seek for Him or deserve His presence because His proximity to you is not based on you and your actions but Him and His unconditional Love. Don't close your eyes, don't shut your eyes, don't shut off your mind, don't pull the plug on your sensitive heart, stay soft no matter how hard it gets, stay open, no matter how many stones are chuck or wells you are thrown in or giants you face or tyrants come to oppress you or people mock you, trust the help will coe, trust that Allah will open a way where no way could be seen. Oceans will part, floods will come, and elephants will kneel, because by the command of your Lord fire is made cool and camels emerge from stone so whatever your pain is, whatever despair you feel know that Allah is with you. That if He finds you lost He can guide you, that if He finds you poor He can make you rich, that with Him near no miracle is too far to be reached so do not label anything impossible for He is the Creator of all that is. The peace you seek is spreouting from inside, be patient any day now it will push passed the fertile soil of the unseen, poking its head passed the surface of your consciousness. Just wait a little longer, your spring is just around the corner waiting to blossom, like a rose opens towards the light no matter how many nights you have to face to breathe in the dawn, promise me promise me you will unfold yourself when the light arrives. According to Fumio Sasaki in his book, Goodbye Things, minimalist Japanese life is a person who really knows what is important for himself and still maintains those things for himself. 

In my personal opinion, minimalism is a mindset or our wise attitude to control all the necessities of life towards our personal items, not just our desires. Living a minimalist life means that you maximize the things you have and reduce the things that "may" actually mean nothing to you.

In a world where we take everything for granted and get everything with the click of a button, we simply lose value in the things we do have.
We have become so entitled about our luxury that we fail to appreciate anything.

The great thing about Minimalism is not in having less, but rather in regaining that appreciation for the things you do have.

Essentially; Minimalism is about finding Happiness without things.

By this, you have something to finish, something to work on, something to start your first step. After knowing the renewal path you will have started your job within your own phase. It is not about being a perfect one and scared to make a mistake. Definitely not. Just focus on your goals while enjoying the whole journey. Making mistakes doesn't mean you are failing and ruining everything. Instead, learn by your mistakes.

•  Never stop doing what you have started.

Keep going on, keep going on, keep going on. You have your own phase. Stop looking at one's successes. You are about to succeed. So, feel it. Make sure you love every single thing you are doing. You almost got there!
